Just finished this for the Acidplanet contest....

Deeper and Deeper (Delobbo Epic Trance 16M)

It's 138 bpm, 16 minutes long, which I know is kind of on the lengthy side - but it's a trance "journey" so this was appropriate....... but nevertheless I'm working on an edit right now that should be a more manageable 8-9 minutes.

This track is in the style of Oakenfold, Corsten, Tiesto, PvD, and Armin...... if you like those guys, chances are you'll like this style.

Wow... I'm not particularly into trance but, that song/track is PHAT! I'd also like to mention that I gave a positive review on Acidplanet, too.
I really like it! Like I said in my review, "This track is just begging to be dropped at a club!" I took the liberty of checking out your (your group's) site. So, you're a Chicago group? I also find that it's cool that you opened for Anything Box. Wow! Anyway, I assume that you didn't just use Acid to do this remix because it sounds so professional (as are you.) (I guess...)

Hey. I just spent a few minutes and signed up on the site and d/l'd your song. I have to agree with xivera. Its great, IMO.

Good mix of rythem's and the flow was good as well. Sounds very professional.

I will do a review of it on Acidplanet as well.

BTW, supra98tt6 got anymore mixes? id love to hear some more.

Hey - thanks for the review, I'm glad you liked it. Yeah I'm in a Chicago group - but this remix was done under my "solo-project" name, delobbo. Anything Box is pretty cool, I dig em. You're right, I also used my keyboard for this mix... thanks again. And if you mean that I do this professionally, the answer is no, I don't, but I sure wouldn't mind! I love music, love to create it, since I can remember. Music is a big part of me. Ok - I'm starting to ramble..... later. thanks again.

Gorillaz, Oakenfold, Deep Dish To Kick Off Miami Beach Music Conference

Paul Oakenfold, Deep Dish, Gorillaz and more than 100 other electronic music acts from around the world will perform at a massive Miami Beach, Florida, party on March 23.

The fourth annual Ultra festival will kick off the Winter Music Conference, a yearly five-day electronic music gathering that has been transforming Miami Beach into the epicenter of DJ culture for 17 years.

Paul van Dyk, Carl Cox, DJ Skribble, Timo Maas, Goldie and Roni Size with MC Dynamite are among the other artists who will perform on six different stages at a yet-to-be-announced location.

Also on the bill are DJ Craze, DJ Dan, Christropher Lawrence, Rinôçérôse, Tall Paul, Josh Wink, DJ Rap, Dieselboy, DB, George Acosta, DJ Icey and Liquid Todd.

Gorillaz will perform live with Del the Funky Homosapien, the voice behind their massive single "Clint Eastwood."

Tickets will soon be available online at www.coolworld.com and www.ultrafestival.com.

The Winter Music Conference, scheduled from March 23 to March 27, will be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Last year's Ultra festival featured many of the same acts, along with John Digweed, Pete Tong and BT (see "Winter Music Diary: The Beats Go On With Bukem, Bahamadia, Digweed").
