Forget how to use this multi meter

I just took some readings for resistance off some of my spark plug wires because I think they are crap. I dont know how many ohms the reading is though???

The setting was on 20k and the reading was 7.48

How many ohms is that???

OEM wires run at about 40K ohms dont they??

look in a chiltons manual if you have one, it has a chart that gives the restistance values per foot of wire. each wire will be different depending how long it is
