Re: How to Gain more HP??
All those things will add a little more horsepower but not much, so don't expect to add 50 more horsepower just by buying a few things cuz its not gonna happen. I have a cold air intake set up from rustysoffroad.com on my cherokee and it did add a little power that i can deffinitely feel that wasn't there before, and the sound it adds is aweomse. But i also have a dynomax cat-back exhaust coupled with that, so with the two combined it has made a nice differecne.

Re: How to Gain more HP??
Hy atfrith, how's it going. MoshimoGTP, atfrith is right, I too have a K&N FIPK and a Magna flow muffler on my 00' XJ w/87,000 miles, also using bosch platnuim pplugs and have had a noticable increase in power. Look at Jet chips. If you have a stock system try out the class I. Changing your axle gears will give you more power off the start, but cost you in milage. I guess the real question is , just what do you plan on using your new toy for? That will determine, just what is actually worth doing toyour XJ. Have many ideas.

Re: How to Gain more HP??
a throttle body spacer and a cold air can help out...ratios can be changed but most are for turning larger tires...i've heard rumors about an AMC supercharger for the 4.0's but wheither or not its true i dunno...exsaust helps..you can get a cat from a V8 ZJ and a find a good high flow muffler
