Trunk latch

I have a '93 J30 and one fot he problems I am having is that the trunk switch on the drivers side door is no longer working. The only way i am able to open the trunk is to get out and open it manually with the key. Any suggestions as to how i can fix this problem?

I have the same problem. Someone told me that I need to replace the trunk Actuator. That's after he checked the fuses.

Check the on/off switch in the glove box.
