sub box

I need help on a sub box that will fit under the back seats of my 99 dakota sport extcab.. does anyone have any advise?

You need to either order one from the guys who supply your stereo, like the place you purchased it from, or have a box custom built, or build one yourself.

A friend of mine had an extended cab S truck with the fold down back seats, and he kept the seats up in the walls and filled the back with subs and amps. If I had an extended cab I would do the same thing, but take the back seat out of that Dakota and fill it with subs and amps. I'm a loner though, I don't need a back seat so this works for me. Your options depend on your situation, I guess. I really think you should take that seat out.

Well I have a 98 dakota with a custom fiberglass box built under the back seat. I had to pull the the standar box out and the hinges for the seats. I have 2 ten's and a flush mounted amp. Talk to your local shop and see if they can build you one. That will be your best bet.

thank you for your reply to my question. i really did not want to part with the subs i had bought only 5 months ago for my old car. but with my truck, my subs won't fit even with the custom box, unless i re-attach my rear seats after putting in a new box. however i come to the realization that i am going to have to part with my two tens, bite the bullet and see if i can find something else i like. thanks again,
