I just want to say that the Dodge 9.25" differential sucks without positrac. AHHHHH. I need new tires because of that thing!

Not necessarily. Positrac is actually the GM term for a limited slip differential. If he doesn't have limited slip, them he most likely has an open rear end (power only goes to the wheel that's slipping).
