Myogi Style Three-Two GTR

Hey I'm new to AF I already posted my sisters Civic, but anyway.. I am not new to modeling though I had a few crappy modeling attempts when I was five, but since last summer I have finished 12 and have 6 in progress. This model is a Japanese Street-Racer-Esqe Nissan Skyline GTR R32 (Non-V-Spec) Hence the name Myogi Style Three-Two. I have begun spraying the body and will have picks of that soon. It is Tamiya Racing White, but since the body was molded in Graphite (Color not Material) and shot it in gray primer the final color is more of a cream. Enought talk here are some pictures.

seats are from the AMT Fast and Furious Supra

Stut tower brace is also from the Supra

I have added some more engine detail since the picture

The kits stock rims actually are bigger to scale than the real stock rims would be so I decided to stick with them

Racing Tachometer is from the AMT Supra, The Steering wheel is from the Fujimi RX7 RZ, and the HKS Boost Controller is scratch built, as is the boost gage on the steering colum but it is hard to see

The car also has a scratch built muffler with a carbon fiber decal on it

Should I do a roll cage? Also I am thinking about a larger custom exhaust. What do you guys think, Questions, comments, good, or bad would be fantastic. I'll get out those body pictures as soon as possible.

Re: Myogi Style Three-Two GTR

Looks good so far. Those seats almost look like Porsche seats. I think I might have to get the Supra kit for the seats.

Re: Myogi Style Three-Two GTR

Looks good. The supra seats fit in nicely with the interior. As far as the motor, it would've looked better in my opinion in silver with a blue or red top. But the black does look clean. You're doing great work, and I love the dash. Great job, and keep it up.

86 SR5 I originally painted it red put the paint wouldn't stay put, and the badging filled in, so I smoothed it out and painted it black so it would lokk real sleek and smooth. I'll post body pics in an hour or so. Thanks for the comments

Re: Myogi Style Three-Two GTR

Man. In a day or two ill be showing my supra with a v8. its a customer car i did for a freind of mine with a custom made kit, just strips of styrene for the smooth look. The motor is a 360 chevy with 427 heads, 396 headers, 427 ford manifold dual plane, dodge 318 carbs and intake cleaner. So, you could call it the mut motor, also it has olds 455 valve covers with a 454 ls6 belt assembly. Good luck with your car.

86 SR5 My car is actually the stock body and decals, when it broke I gutted the powertrain, and left if for dead. Then I remembered thet in my gramdma's basement a bunch of extra parts from my uncles model, back when he built them almost all of them were two in ones, so a picked up about 8 or 9 blocks (1-I6, 2-I4, and a handful of V8's) also I grabbed some tires, some rims, headers, pulleys, carbs, intake, etc. Then I got the crazy idea to clear the Supra, (I built it when clear scared me {About 9 months ago}) to seal in the graphics, and it was in my eyes was a great paint job so I stuck to it. The engine is some wierd brand outdoor spraypaint that is copper color. I'll get some picks hopefully by thursday or weekend after next, my parents are separated and we don't have the internet anymore at my moms, but thats where most of my scratbuild modelling happens which sucks. And by the way my engine is also a mutt but since I don't know what kits the engine bits came from all I can say about the motor is that I know the headers are the stock headers from my AMT comaro kit, and the engine has a GM marking on the tranny, and since the supra is way longer than most muscle cars i'll scratchbuild an exhaust
