93 F250 7.3L Diesel How to install serpentine belt?

Hello, I have been wrestling with a serpentine belt installation on a 93 F250 Diesel for the past two days. I have the belt route correct, I have the correct belt, I can move the tensioner with no problems, where I'm having difficulty is to actually get the belt to slip over the tensioner pulley. Are there any tricks to make the belt go in? I can not see anywhere else to loosen in order to get that extra 1/4 inch to make the belt go in properly. Any advice is appreciated.

The first "unspoken rule" of serpentine belts, is that you never try to slip them over the tensioner pulley, try a smooth idler instead.

The next advice I have is to double check, and triple check to be SURE the belt is properly seated in all the pullies. If it is off by even one groove, you'll never get it on.
