Stock chat

Any investors in here? I saw that topic in this forum, so I figured I would post this here.

I like INTC, CDSS, and IPVO.ob

Right now, I am heavily invested in Global Links Corporation. They are on the OTCBB, their ticker is GBLL. I think right now would be a great time to buy in. The stock price is low (which has me a little scared), and the live launch of their real estate website is August 1st. Seriously, if you are into investing, check it out.

Good luck!

Re: Stock chat

I hate stocks. I've heard from so many people what a big mistake taking your business public is - and over time the companies become more interested in short term profits to please the stock holders that they don't even care about their workers, or producing a quality product for their customers anymore.
That having been said, from time to time I like to follow a company's progess in the stock market, though I've never invested any money into it.

Capitol National Bank has done very well for me. Netopia did as predicted. Its back down under $5 now (cresting $20 - bought at $1.50)

I've got my eye on IBM. I think its time to dump some money into a large cap company. The M$ shares we own are doing ok and I think I'll hold those for the long run. If the EU lawsuits go the way of the US ones, then the stock aught to double withing two years.

I would watch out for Google though. It'll rocket up in the near term, but I have a feeling that they are going to overprice the intial buys.

Yeah, I've heard more negative talk than positive on Google. I had planned on throwing some cash in it, but I'm not so sure any more.

I've got my hand in GE, Exxon, and Dynegy. All doing good.
