Same Question. Not sure if my post hit the forum completely. Want to send it again. Please, Anyone, with expertise, insight, or knowledge. Read the thread Pcosmasc. Car won't accelerate. Car is unable to accelerate. At about 70 mph car begins to lose speed. Pressing on the accelerater (gas pedal) does nothing. The car eventually come to a stand still. 3 x this has happened. Does anyone no what the problem might be. Thank you for your help. (if any) I really appreciate it.

Re: car stops accelerating
I'm really getting annoyed with the multiple posts about the SAME THING. People aren't responding because they don't know what's wrong.
But anyways, did you check the temp gauge like I was saying. Does it stay fairly centered or is it running hot? |

Re: car stops accelerating
I just want to make sure. If a post the same question a different way maybe someone will know. anyway, i took the temp gauge advice into consideration. It does stay fairly centered. On occasions however it tends to jump up not into the red though. But near the warmer side. then after will drop back down. Somebody said a water pump or something maybe that is it. thanks for the advice. don't want to clutter up the forum with the same problem. New to the forum.
