Question First weird thing ever happened

I have a Infi I30 '96. It has 108K miles on it and it was alrite ( as long as i know, I am the second owner). But this shit happened to me this evening and I couldnt understand why.
I started the engine and it just shutted down by itself, it was like when you drive a car out of gas. I waited for a while then start it again, same thing happen. But the thing is when I hold the key for a while, it worked.
I thought it was okie so i cruised around and it messed up again. SO f&(*&ing wierd.. ANybody knows wat is going on with it ???

Re: First weird thing ever happened

3 more hours computer dianogtic.. whenn .. none... It seemed to be alrite.. everything ...
I told the shop to check the gas for me.. because I guess I got some bad gas... and probably .. in the tank .. half is gas and half is water ... That would explain why the car just stop all sudden for nothing. Anyway .. they told me it is waste of time to do it because the chance it happened is 1%. Ehhh .. I took my babie out with no charge cause they didnt find out shit ... and Now it runs... ( new gas) .. hopefully ...

Re: First weird thing ever happened

Could be a bad connection in the steering column where the key goes in. I had a car (way back when) that would turn over fine, would sound like it was started and when I let the key go from start to run, it just shut down. I thought it was the fuel pump, changed it out, and had the same problem. After an afternoon of troubleshooting found that the connector that connected to the key post (or whatever you call the thing that the key goes in) had broken. I rigged something up to secure it and it ran fine.

SO far so good

It seems alrite now .. i been driving out of town and it runs great. But I felt like the steering wheel is a lilte bit heavier ..... I know it doesnt have anything to do with the fuel or gas or watsoever but hope somebody have the same problem can post in some good pieces of advice.
