update

I just wanted to update the problems I posted here a few days ago, IE, the battery light flickering on, and the irratic idle.
As for the battery light, I did some searching and found out that I have the 130 amp alt, well i had put in a 90 amp noco isolator, OOPS, but the good thing was the people at noco were great after toasting the 90 amp unit all they asked me to do was pay the difference to boost up to thier 140 amp unit, they ate the cost of the old unit that I fried, all they asked me to do was take the old unit to one of thier prefered dealers so it could be sent back directly to them for testing. I guess they want to see what damage happens to thier product when a knuckelhead like me screw's up.
after installing the 140 amp unit things were normal again "no more flickering light', I guess it just goes to show as well though what original; gm parts are made of since a goof like mine could have fried the alt, as well as other costly items. so my hats off to the good people at noco, as well as the solid stuff built by the people at gm.
Now as for the irratic idle, well there again what i found was a nut half off for my egr hold down, when I pulled it off I could see the carbon where the two orifaces were bleeding into one another, it showed on the gasket, I can only take this as a nut i overlooked tightening after my new cam install, or i tightened it and it worked loose, either way, after reinstalling the egr "using a little thread locker" problem solved.
being human can be a drag some times, lol.
Hope this post leads others into NOT making the same mistakes I have.
