Roof pillar trim

My first gen 3000gt has only 17,000 miles and was garaged. On each exterior side of the car, next to the window, there is a black glossy trim piece that says VR4 and hides the roof pillar. Mine is perfect right now but I would like to preserve them from that peeling thing... any suggestions?

Re: Roof pillar trim

Get some vinyl protectant and use that accordingly. And keep wax off of it, it will make it look faded. If you want even more suggestions, try locating the 'detailing' section of this forum, they have some great guys there that will have good advice. I think it is in the 'cars in general' section

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
