About a year ago, my friends and I took a cruise to a rich town in my Mustanyota - before it died. The town was fairly big, around 50 miles away, if anyone is in the Bay Area, we went to Livermore. On our way back from a very nice park, I had the urge to take cones from off the road. So of course my two friends were down, we didn't see any harm to it. So we find one and were determined in finding more. So I'm driving, not paying attention, and one of my friends yell out, "Dude, back there, I saw a bunch of cones stacked up!" So I busted an illegal U and parked right next to it. He said "It looks like a construction site." So I was like whatever, let's go.
So we headed out and took them had about 5 in the trunk when we decided to leave. My friend started panicking and was like "let's leave hurry it up!" So I jumped into the driver's seat, started the engine, shifted down to drive, and all of sudden I see this big, white F150 come head on at me. I was like oh FuuuuuuuuuDge!! He slammed right into my baby. At the same time, a silver van pulled up behind me to block me in. I instantaneously got pissed and went out to look at the damage. This bastard damaged my whole front; both front lights, radiator, battery, and windshield were bent in!
This dude jumps out of his car and yells "Trying to break into my house?" I was like "What in the world are you talking about?"
At this moment his wife is on the phone with the cops and within minutes they arrived. I then took a look at the "construction site" and looked past it and saw a damn house in the back. It appears as though that "construction site" was the front of his big, front yard. I was thinking to myself, "you dumb@ss idiot, how could you not see the house?"
Knowing that we were in big crap, I began to explain to this enraged, middle-class, white man that we thought it was a construction site and was just taking cones. Then the fudging cops come, like 5 of them. They handcuffed us and sat us down and began talking to us. Not knowing the ignorance of explaining the "same differences" I said, "We thought it was a construction site and was just taking the cones."
So as the smart@ss that one of the cops was he said, "And if that was from a construction site would it be fine to steal it anyways?" Hahaha damn that shut me up.
So we're sitting there for like an hour, the whole damn neighborhood came out and watched like we just murdered someone and the cops "brought justice to it all." I notice my friends weren't talking to me in like an implied way of saying, "It's your damn fault." Fudge this I thought, I'll just take the blame for it if it's like that. But luckily, they just let us go. They called our parents and told us to never step foot into the town again because we were in their records and officially banned from the town.
Now here's the kick in the balls, I was dropping one of my friends off in his nice neighborhood - where usually there aren't any construction beind done - and we see a bulldozer on the side of the street with a crapload of cones surrounding it.......We all started laughing because that was just so damn karma. No one was around, just 20+ cones sitting there, waiting to be stolen. But we had enough excitement for one day.
The good thing was, when I got home, there was a little misunderstanding that lighten my load a bit. Moms just got off the phone with the officer and said, "The police told us you were stealing CORN, what were you thinking. Don't do it again, always getting in trouble." It seems as though my mom mixed up the words "cones" and "corn" together. So yah, I was stealing corn. Thank goodness for Asian parents who aren't very fluent in english.

I didn't want to take it to court because I thought it as the guy didn't want to press charges against my friends and I so I decided to let it go. But dude, my license is suspended because of that point. 1 for totalling my rsx. 2 for the accident that is not even my fault.
