93 5.2L OEM fuel lines or plastic connector to fuel rail
The plastic clip which attaches the stock fuel line to the fuel rail has failed and pops off regularly. The OEM fuel line part number is 52020188 (return) 52019153 (supply) both have the mating plastic connector to the fuel rail but I'm told these parts are no longer available by several dealers.
Does anyone know of a source for OEM fuel lines, replacement plastic connectors, or a good approach to adapt generic fuel line to the fuel rail. Thanks so much, Dorothy |

Re: 93 5.2L OEM fuel lines or plastic connector to fuel rail
I can't believe that, that plastic clip is also used to connect the outgoing line to the pump output. And it also applies a long way up from 1993. That clip should be available stand alone. Do they just expect us to throw away an 11 year old truck fo a 40 cent part? I'll check on that, I just had to take one off an old pump and put it on a new one three weeks ago, glad I was careful. Those clips are available from Dorman and are the same as Ford fuel filter clips. Also replacement nylon lines are available from same source. A small clip release tool will help save wear and tear but they still get brittle after several years
