i had a 350 in my s-15 with 40 series flowmasters, i like the sound but im putting a LT-1 out of a camaro in now and i want to have a different sound kinda like a race car or something. if anyone one has any ideas on what kind of mufflers i could get that sound from please let me know. thanks.

You need to pick a different cam for the motor, and use a 1 or 2 chamber muffler and run stainless pipes with no catalytic converter if you are not worried about whether it is legal. If you are going for speed as well, you probably dont want to use a single chamber muffler.

Re: exhaust
cam, heades and your mufflers should be fine. they are by the way two cambered mufflers. they should be loud, unless the engine is stock then i personly dont think they sound good. if your pushing some power and have big enough pipes then it should sound good, especaily when you get on it. what size are the pipes? if you run 2 1/2 then it will be kinda deep and loud when you jump on it, if you have ground clearance then you might want to concider just running straight pipes from your headers back to the mufflers, it will change the way it sounds a little.
