well its been a while but i got a few problems

hey everyone sorry i havent been on here much. been workin tons at Universal studios. but any way on to the problems. I have a 1997 Camaro z-28

1. This is related to the turn signals. ok just rescentely like a month ago... but ok the left turn signal works fine (alittle slow but still works) but the right signal just stays on. i checked al the bulbs, fuses, and the flasher, and their all perfectly fine. i'm going to get a new battery tomarrow, but what is hapening? does any one know??

2. Next is the retained accessory power modgual. it dosent work sometimes. you think i should just replace it?

3. Tranny time, ok when ever i drive my car a short distances after setting for a night. and after i drive it and park it. do whatever come back and go to put i in reverse..IT WONT GO! no matter how hard i push it wont go into gear.its like theirs no slot for reverse.

wel theirs the problems for now i would appreciate any help.

Re: well its been a while but i got a few problems

hmmm.... well the turn signals, might be a bad ground, the flashers are essentially a circuit breaker, current goes through, heats em, they kick off, then reset. if the ground is bad, not enough power is going through the flasher to heat it up, so it never turns off. look for some sort of corrosion or loose ground to cause that problem.

retained accessory power module??? as in the vacume tank??? or something else?

for the tranny, does it go PAST reverse like into drive and such??? or will it not come out of park at all???

for the turn signal one: i would agree with 89. in my dads 67 chevelle when the light bulb socket pops out a little bit it isnt grounding enough so when i hit the right blinker it will just stay on, just like your is doing.

tranny: is it a stick or an auto?

what are you talking about. first of all he didnt say anything about a park position. it could be a auto but then wouldnt he have said no matter how hard he pulls? its just not clear to me so i asked.

and second, huh? the rest of that didnt make sence to me.

slot=manual tranny, sorry he said park it not put it in park missed that.
in that case shit i don't know, check linkages first, try coming directly from 1st this is a confusing prob, my old escort cough cough crap cough did the sme thing. ended up late to school more than once, also check that the clutch is operation properly, incomplete throwout might create a mechanical stop
