They completely forgot to mention that when you stop being a pussy, crybaby, sandy vagina, the car utterly stomps everything in sight with a little "tweaking"

And what kind of a 5'10" round mouth cornholer cant figure that if your head touches the roof, you lower the seat?

after reading your review on the 2G eclipse. http://www.cartalk.com/content/testd...-gsx-1999.html i have to say you gotta be the biggest moron or amature in the automotive world to come up with that BS. what is with the "can't find any parts for the car". FYI, eclipse 1g, 2g, along with honda civic, and integra are the most modable cars in the world. there's literately thousands of choices to choose from. i seriously don't know where you were looking at.

and there's plenty of room for engine mods. maybe you just have no idea what you're doing. why do you think motion picture co uses eclipse and integra to shoot the film. the stock 4G63 can handle up to 500 hps of modification without any rebuild.

and save your own opinion about the styling to yourself. don't like big spoilers and smooth curves, great, go drive your boxy olds but don't bash it on the car. a review is suppose to be objective not opinionated. try go on any automotiveforum sites and dump that stupid review on a thread, see how many many peps'll bash your head with it.

i remember reading that review wayyyy back when in my early DSM days...

quite frankly i liked it, and i was even more interested in the GSX after reading the article, and i'll tell you why:

in their mediocre review they may have single handedly removed all doubt from a perspective asshole's mind that this is not the car for them. also it takes a bit of reading between the lines on this one.

my take on the review:

The four-cylinder, five-speed turbocharged engine has plenty of power and acceleration. The Eclipse GSX also includes all-wheel drive, which gives the car additional grip, especially in bad weather. That's probably its most significant advantage over other, similar sporty coupes. The Eclipse is still a low-slung sports car. The Eclipse has a sporty handling package, including a very firm suspension. It grips the road well. Should you successfully make it into the GSX, you'll notice that there's still not a whole lot of room. We found the ergonomics to be acceptable in the Eclipse. Once you're in, everything is pretty much within reach. [read: like a cockpit!] Legroom is adequate for average-size drivers like us. It's a car for people who like the feel and sound of the road. And you'll feel and hear it, all right. The Eclipse comes with a turbo-powered four-cylinder engine, which we liked. There's no shortage of power, and the Eclipse should be okay to service. On the other hand, servicing looks pretty straightforward and uncomplicated on the Eclipse. We would expect reliability to be average. Overall, the Mitsubishi Eclipse is a pretty good performance car at a pretty good price. And the all-wheel-drive still makes it unique in its class and gives it impressive road-holding abilities.



that is all that i saw... much like any other review, i believe the author was under heavy constraints as to another car manufacturer tht probably pays the bills so that they will have constant good reviews

Another thing I like about my POS. It has the low spoiler, and everyone mistakes it for a non turbo
