Cool I Hope This Is Normal!!!
Hi to all,
I did a burnout with my 2002 SS and looked in the rearview and saw a lot of blue smoke. Will burning rubber make blue smoke on the pavement?? I sure hope so. I switched to Royal Purple 5-30W today before the burnout.

Not first, but have not had the car more than two weeks, It is the first time I noticed color of smoke at burnout area.

a few times tho not only did it smell liek burning rubber, smelled liek WET burning rubber... ow my nostrils. Oh well sucks for the ppl i did it by

Yes , synthetic. The manufacturers claim it will give up to 3% increase in performance. Motorcyclists use it commonly. Go to royalpurple.com
I bought it at a local parts supplier (NAPA) The guy there said one of his customers swears by it. I first heard about it on this forum.
