I'm thinking of getting one. I check for Washington State (where I am). And its legal here if you have something red on the end. The bars are red so it will probably be ok. People have bikes on their roofs and on the back of their cars and its ok. Plus the driving i plan on doing is not the legal kind.

Won't give me the lengths and angles that look good. imo And i don't think it will hold up on bumpy roads. imo If only they were the same price.

I went to Lowes and picked up about $80 worth of raw materials yesterday. I may still need a few more, but if everything works out I should be able to provide something very similar to that "GT Mount" for a lot cheaper...
