1992 Olds Cutlass Supreme LS Question

Hey..

I bought a 1992 Olds Cutlass Supreme LS; and two of the power windows don't work (the two right ones).

Before I go out and buy new window motors and rip the doors apart to install them, I decided to check the fuses...

The power window motors fuses are located "Under the Instrument Panel"; and so I checked, but to no avail, and I ended up dismantling most of the dash board in search.

I finally resorted to consulting a GM representative :\ and he said that the manual may actually be incorrect...and he referred me to a few sites, one of which was this one

I was wondering if anybody may be able to shed some light on the exact location of the fuse box which deals with the power windows...I've checked the two under the hood and the one in the glove compartment, but neither of those are the correct ones.

I really need to get these windows working...I live in South Florida, where it's almost always in the 80's and 90's; and my AC doesn't work, I have black interior, and no tinted windows...when I get in the car, the steering wheel actually burns my hands...I've resorted to driving my car less because of the heat

If somebody can help...please, PLEASE do...

Thanks!!

Re: 1992 Olds Cutlass Supreme LS Question

More than likely it is the power window motor. You could by-pass the switch and see if the power window motor works (with voltage going to the motor).
