Del Sol Automatic Trunk Release
Hey I saw this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW The price seems good. Just wondering if anyone has purchased or seen this product, and if there are any better ones? It says something about installing a switch. I'd be happier if I could just use the inside trunk release to pop open the trunk. Wouldn't I be able to rig it so the OEM release switch would work with this one? What are my other options? Thanks!

Just get the OEM trunk release. '95 - '97 Del Sol's came with them standard.

yeah I got the trunk release but it doesn't pop. Also the alarm system I'm looking at would let me pop trunk with remote (i'm lazy) so i'd need an electric system.
To make the trunk pop I'm just going to unscrew the two corner rubber bumper pieces and place a washer or two under them so that they are a little taller and would pop thr trunk when latch is released.

Actually that's what you have to do anyway. The release doesn't open the trunk unless the two rubber bumpers are unscrewed enough to allow the trunk to life slightly when you pull the release. I had to do that to mine.
