problem with vehicle title
Me and my husband purchased a truck about two months ago. The guy we bought it from gave us a paper that we thought was the title. It turned out to be a copy of the title and it was just the front page. Well to make a long story short.....The guy never had the title changed into his name, now we found out that the original owner of the truck passed away several years ago. We got in contact with her sons and neither of them want to have anything to do with it. They said their mother sold the truck to this guy seven years ago, but basically since the guy never changed it into his name he doesn't have anything to do with it either. Is there anything we can do about getting the title since the lady is deceased???? Any info will be very much appreciated.
