WHat color is your car? I think on a silver or white one, it looks nice, but I think it looks tacky on a darker color car.

I'd lower it, and get rid of that wheel well space. I saw your other post, I'd get black tint, no color. I have 19" rims on my car with 35 profile tires, which isn't too thin I also took off the badges (maxima and SE) off the back. makes it look cleaner. But it's really all about personal preferance.

Re: Clear Side Markers....

I purchased my clear corners on ebay for $19 each pair and they are pretty much the same thing as you would get from custommaxima.com or anywhere else.

I had the same question xmastanax .........and it was answered to me by a guy on cardomain that has done it. Here is the exact email I got back.

The only tools you'll need are a flathead screwdriver and a towel or rag.

1. Insert the screwdriver tip (wrapped in the towel to prevent chipping or scratching of the paint) into the groove that goes around the lens at the point where it is closest to the doors or towards the center of the side of the car, same thing. To clarify, the front bumper lens should be pryed out from the back end of the lens and the rear bumper lens should be pryed out from the front end. You may have to gently push the wrapped screwdriver in a little bit, so you can get a good grip on the lens.
2. Pop out the lens.
3. Unscrew the bulb wiring by turning it counter-clockwise.
4. If replacing the bulbs, simply pull them out and push in new ones.

NOTE: This next step is very critical, as most people who do not complete it usually have future problems with condensation (water) in the lens.

5. Seal around the outside of the new clear lenses with a silicone sealant, just like the kind used on aquariums and such. You should be able to find it most anywhere, like Home Depot, etc. This will prevent water or moisture from getting into the lenses, causing ugly-ass water droplets or fog on the inside.
6. Screw the bulb wiring back into the new lenses, clockwise.
7. Finally, insert the end of the lens that you didn't pry on (end closest to the front and rear bumpers) into the lens opening and firmly press the other end (that you pryed on) into the opening until feeling or hearing it pop back into place.
