2000 I30T speedometer head
The speedmeter of my '00 I30T just went crazy .. floating around from 0 to 120 to 40 to 140, etc. This only happened once but I took it to my friendly Infinity dealer to check it out (I was told by the service dept. that if I didn't, it would screw up the transmission and to get it right in????). It only happened the one time but now the repair will be $530!!! (which I don't have right now). Anyone else ever have this type of problem? What should I do?
