Dash alignment with door
I recently purchased a 2004 Buick LeSabre. The only problem I have with it is the wood grain on the right side of the dash doesn't line up with the wood grain on the door. The dash wood grain is about 3/8" to 1/2" higher than the door. The car has been back to the dealer twice. The first time the service department said there are no adjustments therefore it must be designed that way. Second time, the service department took apart part of the dash and put it back together and it made little or no difference. The service manager said they would order a new carrier(mounting "plate" to the firewall) and change it out. Has anyone else had a problem like this and if so, how did you fix it?
