Suspension knowledge needed
Hey all. I'm looking to lower my car and have a friend who is going to do it for me. But I want to make sure that I am getting everything I need and this is where you guru's come in.
 I have a 00 GT vert and am going to buy Eibach pro springs and Tokico struts. The Eibach springs are $200 on ebay new and the Tokico struts are $140 for the front, $70 for the rear. This will drop the car about 1.4". Is this all I need? Are these parts worth the money? Am I missing anything? I'm open to changes and suggestions so those of you who have already lowered your stangs, please give your input. Thanks!

Although not absolutely necessary, I would also invest in new offset rack bushings and (if they use em) rubber spring isolators. It might also be worth it, while the rears are off, to throw in some nice control arms to top it off.

you only really need CC plates if you're running coilovers. they're designed to take the entire load of the front of the car, instead of the k-member taking it. and since the stock tower covers already have adjustments, there's really not point without coilovers.
but definitely get offset steering rack bushings, if you want your front tires to last at all. there's also issues with the bump geometry getting screwed up when lowering... usually this is compensated for with aftermarket k-members and control arms. no worries like this in the rear tho, it's just a solid axle. control arms would be nice tho, they really help with launching and ride height (if they're adjustable). adjustable upper arms are reccomended if you measure the pinion angle and it's off... hope that helps
