hi all whatis acoustic feedback? and can i change original radio or do i have to rewire the whole car 2000 16el?

Acoustic feedback hmmm. Well if you mean noise such as altenator whine, which is a high pitched whine that correspondes with the rpm's. This is usually due to a problem in grounding but if you are getting it through the factory head unit it is possible that the radio itself is going bad there are filters that are not doing their job. If this is in some sort of aftermarket system with amplifiers check your ground with a digital multimeter for a resistance of less than .5 ohm impedence. If it is just a headunit try not using the factory ground. Ground to a large metal structure the best is usually the tubing that supports the dash.
