had a new clutch installed and now the clutch has no tension?

had a new clutch installed and now the clutch has no tension in first gear, all the other gears the clutch has tension, i was wondering if i need to take the clutch back to the people who installed it and have them fix the problem.....but the question is....is the no tension in the clutch a problem???

Its making it real hard to shift normally without the tension.

Re: had a new clutch installed and now the clutch has no tension?

is it an aftermarket clutch, if yes typically the clutch needs to be adjusted, becuase of how new bigger clutches engage. take it back and have them adjust the slave cylinder throw.
