Steering ?

I want to know if I can use the steering colum out of my 88RS in my 82 Z28? The horn doesnt work on my 82 and its somewhere in the colum so I figured it would be easier to just replace the colum than to try to track down the wiring and go from there.

theyre all the same until 91 when they adopted the SIRS

So there wont be any probs with differant wiring or anything like that then? cuz if thats the case it will be so much easier to just swap them out.

As long as they all have the same options..
(some had cruise, tilt, delay wipers) I think thats about the only options that would affect you
