Air Brushing.. with a Can !?

I was strolling around AMF and I've seen a few posts talking about Air Brushing with a Can. How does that work exactly? I don't really understand how that can be done really.`

Wow.. I mean, I didin't think you could actually get any details out of a can since the spray is so wide.

Re: Air Brushing.. with a Can !?

You cant get details...its very broad and general. I am an airbrush artist and I can spray down to a .8mm line.

Re: Air Brushing.. with a Can !?

Well thats interesting because i believe that like it says in your profile not enough "time" well if you had time and did it you could come up with something pretty good. Paint from cans contains hardeners and other extra chemicals and the excellerents(not sure if spelled right) have very fine over spray , thats when I use servisol takes it right off but doesnt hurt the paint underneath.
But bugger all im gonna just buy a kit and get lost with that for awhile. I hate trouble shooting cans , been using them for years and half the time Im returning them for some sort of flaw. Should I buy stainless steel and glass setups or what would work best for a guy like me?
