Programming keyless entry remote for a 2002 Intrepid SE

I bought my Intrepid in January and I was wondering if #1. if it came with keyless entry as as standard option and #2. if so how can I program the remote w/o having to go back to the factory and pay upwards of $50 just to have it done. I saw on the sticker of the car that it had illuminated entry and I was not sure if illuminated entry also meant keyless entry as well. A friend of mine has a 2001 intrepid SE with the same options. Any helpful advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
