Re: 10 sec vr4?$
well it's really hard because the only person in the 10 sec right now is matt monett, and he has a sponsorship from Dynamic Racing. So get ready to dish out alot of money.

Re: 10 sec vr4?$
i always feel there's a way around things. i think the right person could get us in the low 10's. its not impossible, just hasn't been figured out yet

Matt actually owns dynamic racing and he is currently in the very low 11's. AAM's car has the most recorded 10 sec passes, and the fastest car is in japan.
The NG is this week, and matt will be running his car at a much lower altitude, so he may bring the record back the US, who knows. |

Re: 10 sec vr4?$
Does anyone what the highest top speed reached in a 3k was? I heard that the design of the 3k was suppose to be remarkably areodynamic and capable of areodynamically reaching extremely high speeds. I dunno though, just a rumor maybe, but the car is alot sleeker then most other cars you have to admit

Re: 10 sec vr4?$
Last I heard, 4 people had broken into the 10s, all either owning their own shop or highly affiliated with one. I'm thinking it would take more than 15k to do it...alot more.
2si...The problem is there isn't much aftermarket available past getting the vr4s into the 11s, lower is possible but becomes damn expensive due to so few pursuing it. With few trying, it isn't creating a demand that companies would find worthwhile to attempt to fill. They need enough people purchasing their product to cover costs or R&D.

Got scammed by Night7? if so read below
If you or anyone that you know has been "financially" hurt by Night7Racing let me know. A large "class-action" suit is being worked on and I may be able to get people full or at least partial compensation. I encourage everyone to look out for people like me that got scammed. Email me at [email protected] This is not a joke I have FRAUDULENT stories that would blow 20.20 anyway!
I will need an email with first and last name, what happened, what is owed and a phone number. |

X-Wing, Jack T. (wish I could remember how to spell his last name) was in the 10s several years ago. He did it for a whole lot less then 15K. It may have been the perfect run to get it. Improving your driving skills will take a few tenths off some of your better times without spending a dime. Replace the turbos, exhaust, intake, fuel system and lighten the load and you'll be deep in the 11s.
I think one of the things preventing more people from getting into the 10s is a lack of tuning options. Get the car as they sit tuned up and you'll shave a few more tenths off.
