New to the board

I was just given a 89 GP, the body is straight except for some fender damage from a blow out. The dash is all apart and radio/speakers taken out. Has a 2.8 w/auto and was told the transmission is shot, haven't gotten the hood open yet. I plan on doing the body first so I have time for any drivetrain mod. Anyway, the question I have is what engines will fit and what kind of problems will I run into changing to a larger engine? Like I said I will have time before I start on the mechanics and would like some ideas on a good engine/transmission combo. The only real experience I have had with FWD was putting a 1.8 F**d into a 1.9 Escort, but I had both cars, wiring harness was a pita. Any ideas would be appreciated.

www.L67swap.com

Try that site.

L67 would be a good start or maybe even an 04's L32.

www.clubgp.com is another good site to find parts for and get questions answered
