Audio Inquiry...
I was wondering which box I sould get for my soon to arrive MTX 8000 15's. Ill be running them off of an 81000D each (~1100 RMS). Im trying to decide between a 1.75 & 2.25 Cu. Ft. MDF enclosures. Could I get the large one & port it & still have it sound good
? What dimension ports would most guys reccomend. Probably 4(round) by how long? Sounds like it would work to me!Also, Im gonna need/want a cap. rite? Well, How many farad? Im thinking one farad each? or can I buy one 2F cap. and have both amps running thru it. Thanks a bunch guys!

Re: Audio Inquiry...
sealed box volume 1.25 - 2.50 cuft.
ported box volume 2.00 - 4.00 cuft. with sealed, you can get away with a little size error, but not too much with ported. It can make a drastic reduction in performance for even small errors. when you get your subs it will have the optimal specs. for that sub.
