Just wanted to say I like your signature.... I like watching idiots in their Type-R's running 16-flat because they don't know how to drive
![]() About the pistons... not sure about LS blocks... I assume you can swap out a lot of the parts for Type-R parts, which are always good. I believe Type-R pistons are 10.8:1 -vs- your 9.6:1 er whatever LS's run.

and also, i was wondering if you know any other parts i should swap with. Right now, i'm thinking about stainless steel valves, bronze valve guides, crower cams, titanium valve springs and retainers, all from inline four.com any input on those parts?

Basically any after-market valvetrain will hold up well. Crower makes an inexpensive kit good for 10k revs. The only way you could use type-r valvetrain parts is if you swapped the head and built an LS-vtec. Awesome motors, just a lot of work to make them awesome.
Personally, in your situation, I'd consider turbo. You already have the low-compression pistons. It's a lot of bang for your buck, and you can find used systems on www.thepartstrader.com all the time.

i really want to keep this engine all motor, not turbo, but thanks for the suggestions. What kind of piston would you recommend then, if i can't use type r pistons?
