mk3 fiesta indicators - HELP

Hi,

I need to change one of my side indicator bulbs, but i cannot seem to be able to remove the amber housing from the side of the car.

Ive tried - pushing left/right, twisting left/right, and pushing up/down.

I dont want to apply too much muscle in case it breaks then i will be up the creak without a paddle.

Am i just not pulling/twisting hard enough?? Or is they something else that im missing??

hi i changed my fiesta 1993 amber indicators yesterday to clear ones and my left one came off with only turning it clockwise with no muscle at all but the right one i had a bit of trouble with it was stiff an werent sure which way it turned but i got a spanner out an put it round it an turned it cant remember which way but can check if u wana make sure it dont damage yours but it came of ok still an didnt brake off or anything,hope this help
