Re: cold air intake

You won't find a CAI for a turbo car. You can make a intake pipe and a get a filter and that will be perfect

Re: cold air intake

go to dejon's website. they have a 2-1/4" hard pipe for $35. that's your best performance/value choice. me on the other hand, just got their 2-3/4" pipe. slaped that baby on today and worked like a champ!

Re: cold air intake

I dont think anyone makes a CAI for a turbo eclipse. The only way to do it is to make one, and it's not going to help you that much. Just get the regular one...

Re: cold air intake

you will never find a CAI because of the MAS sitting in the way. basicaly you have the air filter w/ adapter on the pas side of the MAS and a 'turbo intake/inlet pipe' on the driver's side.

search 'eclipse turbo intake' on ebay...

Re: cold air intake

So would something like K&N's FIPK be a good substitute, or Stillen's Hiflow intake? both are around 130 an can be bought from Ebay or if you are lucky a local automotive convience shop.

Re: cold air intake

I think if you really want one u should juss make one from like home depot. that would probably be the cheapest.

Re: cold air intake

I don't know for sure, but the FIPK or the High flow is suppose to give some pretty decent performance gains, not to mention the design would seem like to much of a hassle to copy

Re: cold air intake

you need a 2.5'' for the direct fit to a t-25. most intake pipe kits come with a filter and adapter.

the K&N is also a great choice. the best bang-for-buck would be a K&N FIPK and a POSr home depot intake. this would also be at the high end of performance even though it has POS style...

you want an EVO III 16g turbo, not a Big 16g
