leaks

I own a 2004 Suburban and noticed the other day the rear differential cover has some fluid on it like it's leaking from around the gasket. Anyone have this problem?

solution?

I took the truck into the dealer today and he called back saying that this was not a leak but seapage. Said it's normal and happens on all of them. Says fluid is coming from the bolt holes. Seems they should pull the bolts and put some locktite or something to keep this from happening? Any suggestions?

COME ON!!! No one here on the forum owns a 2003 or 2004 Suburban that can help me on this? Check your rear diff. and tell me if you see fluid? I am trying to get Chevrolet to admit this is a problem and make them fix it. I own a Toyota 4Runner with over 100,000 miles and I have no leaks any where..

Re: leaks

I will check mine but I have not noticed anything. (Just the annoying vibe. in the brake pedal with the A/C on. - see other thread)

be sure and crawl under and look all around the thing, Mine is leaking from the top?

so you are saying that when you are stopped at a stop sign (foot on brake) with A/C on you feel a vibration in the brake foot pedal or the whole truck?
