Question about Neons ?

alright, i hooked up 3 neons to an empty fuse today and they work fine, but my question was if i wanted to hook more up to that fuse, would it work, and how many more could it hold?

oh yea and people say "why put them on, their ricy" i dont car, it's my car, not yours.

Re: Question about Neons ?

i cant answer your question and its probably too late but if your neons ever break, a better option would be to buy LEDs. you can get a 4 piece set off ebay for pretty cheap and they wont break.

Re: Question about Neons ?

to an empty fuse.. you mean a fuse that operates something that your car doesn't have? cause i would say it depends on the size of the fuse if you can handle more or less... just outa curiosity why don't you just hard wire them into your battery? are they underbody.. or what... that could help us answer you some.

Re: Question about Neons ?

the neons came with the car, so that is why i don't have LED lights. the fuse is just an empty fuse that is hooked up, but it isn't running anything in the car. they are only in the my trunk, and i think the fuse is a 30A. i didn't really think of wiring them up to my battery... they are already on a switch, just were not connected.

so back to my question, could a 30A fuse hold more LED's or neons?

3 neons of what length? and i would prolly say yes a 30A is pretty good.. so what i would do is hook one more up drive it around for a while then add another until either the neons dim or you blow the fuse.. then youll know.. blowing the fuse shouldn't damage your neons. thats why they are there, and if your really unsure you can always wire them into a hot wire on your car that comes on when you turn the car on.

just my 2 cents.
