rear rotors 1996 explorer

I am trying to replace the rear rotors on my 1996 explorer 4wd ( 4 wheel disc brakes). The rotors are either really stuck or attached in some manner to the rear axle. They did not slide off like the front ones, anyone have any info, I would greatly appreciate it, I am totally stuck and so are the rotors!!!

I had the same problem with mine. Those have drum brakes on the inside for the emergency brakes and can get stuck. I used a block of wood and a 3lb mini sledge hammer to brake mine free. I wasn't to worried about damage because I was going to replace them anyway. Hope this helps.
