I'm thinking about getting the Infiniti G20. Since the 2002's just came out, the 2001's price drops dramastically. So I was wondering what are the major differences between the two? Also, which year do you guys think I should get? I already know that if I got the 2002 I would get the Sports Package, and for the 2001, the Touring Model. Help.

Peace.

2001 t has 15 inch wheels, 2002 s has 16

the s also has a nicer grill, seats (imho), gauges, and some other little things

get the 2002

Cool a bright idea ... not :)

Well, if you have money, I'd suggest the following: get yourself a European Primera imported to you (P11-144). There is a sport version avaliable with a 2.0 l. engine (quite frankly, I'm not sure which one it is - it could very likely be SR20VE). It shouldn't cost you that much more, and you'll get a great car, and it will be very unique in the neighbourhood I have no idea if this can be done,or if it's legal or sth., but it *could* be worth looking into.

That is nice. I hope they bring them here to NZ.
They are just starting to sell off all the new Primera's cheap and giving away all sorts of deals which is a good sign that a new model is on the way.

Left hand drive? As in the steering wheel on the left? Sure! (they have it on the right for UK, but all Primeras are built in UK - some in Japan). AWD - no

I am also seriously considering getting either a 2001 or 2002 G20.
My question relates to the seats: what are the differences between the seats on the 2001 G20 Touring and the 2002 G20 with the sport package? I am not so much interested in the material of the seats, but rather how "aggressive" the bolstering is on them. I am going to be using the car as a daily driver commuting in Northern Virginia-DC Metro traffic, so good seats are a must, and I have gotten spoiled by the Recaros in the E30 M3 that will be relegated to weekend status.
Also, does anyone know if there is any difference with the suspension? does the 2002 G20 with sport package have a stiffer suspension than the 2001 G20 Touring?
I find it hard to pay more for a 2002 G20 with a sport package, unless there ae any significant differences.

The 02 sport has 8 way power seats, the seats are two tone leather, grey suede in the middle black on the edges - I love them. People get in the car and can't stop petting it! lol..... I really didn't care for leather because of the freezing in the winter, sliding around in the winter, sitcking and burning in the summer - but I'ts been freezing here (heated seats are niiice) and its been hotter than hell and neither have bothered me because of the seude leather in the middle. It kicks butt! Suspension I believe is the same - however you do get larger 16" rims/tires......
Either way you'll enjoy a G, I bought mine thinking I may have regrets, and I never have.
Oh ya don't forget, the sport package comes with the gauck and stare by all the ladies feature.... Wait, thats aftermarket equipment lol
Good luck in your decision
Chris

by the way, where are you from in kentucky? I am originally from Lexington, and my mom dad and brother are still there. My brother has a 95 dark green G20t with tinted windows and a "geek" sticker on his bumper. I would actually be getting the car from Glenn, because our family has bought 5 cars from them all together and the dealer has been excellent so far.

I'm in very northern, KY about 15mins from cincy, I got my from Kings auto mall, great service, they helped me and took me seriously even with my age... So I was impressed, only bitch was buying the car at the end of april because they rushed me into it and then the employee deal was another $500 sweeter in may and they wouldn't help me out... oh well... win some loose some....
