Exclamation one question about Box Trucks?

I found a Box Truck I like to get one of these days or maybe next year project.

so here's the question,

Do you need a certain Driver's License to be able to drive it?

Re: one question about Box Trucks?

Depending on size, you may need a CDL (commercial driver's license). Not positive, though.

Just because I'd be dead if I were a cat, why do you want a box truck?

well I do like trucks, like 18 wheelers, or just incase I need to move, I rather move in one trip instead of having a whole lot of relatives help me move.

like last year it took me at least 2 hours to move in.

Have you seen the link yet?

That's the truck I want to try to get.

Re: one question about Box Trucks?

you shuoldn't need a CDL because those are basically the same types of trucks that U-HAUL uses and you don't need a special license to rent/drive those

Re: one question about Box Trucks?

If you get one of those get a Diesel, just me but I wouldn’t get a truck like that with a Gas engine.

Re: one question about Box Trucks?

Do you have a pickup? If you at least had a V8 half-ton, I'd reccommend buying an enclosed trailer.

actually I have a little Chevy S-10 V6, fuel injection, but i'm planning to move up.

I'm trying to save up for a 2002 or 03 Chevolet Silverado 2500 depends on how expensive.

and I'm trying to get a camper with it.

Re: one question about Box Trucks?

I have towed a 10' single axle Wells Cargo trailer, with a nosecone, with a 91 Buick Park Avenue, 170000 miles on the odometer. It struggled when it was loaded down from wall to wall to cieling, but you should be able to handle a small trailer fairly well with an S-10.

A camper would be nice to have, but with my S-10 truck, I don't think it can pull one, because it doesn't have that much power. With my luck that bed or the frame that's holding it might break and maybe the rear suspensions.
