99 Contour SVT Cosmo Racing Short Shifter?
I just bought a Cosmo Racing short shifter for my contour SVT. I haven't installed it yet but, I was wondering if anyone out there has one as well, and if it has worked well for them.

i have a 2000 contour svt...no major changes from your 99. the cosmo short shifter is pretty much as good as any short shifter for the svt. i bought the B&M short throw and noticed a significant difference. the throw was reduced by about 40%.

The B&M is the best shifter you can for the 98-00 contour. OBX is another favorite although, it generally ends up breaking to where the linkage hooks up.
