Question Fan Shroud

I need to change all the heater hoses on my 92 Crown Victoria. In order to access these hoses easily and change the serptine belt at the same time, I need to take the protective fan shroud off. How do I go about doing this without removing and unbolting the fan from the water pump ?

Re: Fan Shroud

There are only two heater hoses, and neither go anywhere near the fan or shroud. One goes from the rear of the RH head to the firewall (heater core)that's the supply, and the return goes from the firewall rear of the engine to under the intake and to the back of the waterpump. That one is a pain, but it can be done with the intake in place.

If you need to remove the shroud, you will first have to remove the fan.
