Indianapolis 2002 Ralph and Juan

The figure is an older Tamiya figure with MSM Creation decals. They turned out great!!
I tried something different for the seat belts. Blue ribbon was used then the kit supplied belts were carefully cut out and sanded down and glued to the ribbon.
We will see how it turns out. This is just a test fit.

The body will be glued together with the seat in place...after painting is complete the figure will be put into place.

Juan figure is in the works.

NICE!!!

That's awesome! I had no idea that driver decals were availible (I NEED some now!). Cool idea- I wouldn't have thought to immortalize this, uh, dubiuos moment in recent Williams history, but it'll make a terrific diorama! (I guess the other moment that comes to mind with the FW24 is Ralf flying over the first corner at Melborne!) I like what you've done with Ralf- the pose captures motion (and frustration!) very well.

Thanks!
Yes, it is going to be a diorama.
The Ralf figure is a Tamiya.
The Montoya is a Treasure Hunt figure.
More progress pictures to come.

Re: Indianapolis 2002 Ralph and Juan

Here is the Hungary 2002 Diorama I did.
I'll take better pictures tonight.
The frame has been covered in carbon fiber "decals" and looks much better.

The same "Shadowbox" idea will be used on this diorama as well.
It doesnt take any shelf space since I can hang it on the wall like a picture!

Some of the best F1 dioramma's I've seen. Fantastic!

Can't wait to see the finished Williams dioramma.

Good luck with the diorama, however why you'd want to commemorate that moment is beyond me
The Kimi and JPM diorama looks fabulous, what scale is it?
