Re: Newbie needs help

sounds like a really good price almost too good to be true... no carfax sorry... but if the car fax looks good make sure it works good before you buy it... i had a billion things go wrong with my 98 right after i bought it (as soon as that night drivers window stopped going down then hte next day the coolant light came on) i paid a lot more for my 98 about a year or so ago... what color btw not that it matters???

also beware of jerks when auto switches gears... if its bad look into it... (mine felt like being rear ended or hitting a huge pot hole in between 20 and 30 km/h) was a sensor in my tranny

Its a beige gold colour, I check my financing today with my bank, if thats a go, i get my carfax account up. The free scan says there are 16 occurences. But it doesnt say what. Im thinking "back away, turn around, run". But if its nothing bad, strait to the mechanic for a full inspect

16 occurences that doesnt sound too good... depending on how big the occurences were and how well they were fixed though that helps too... i loved the color of my car when i got it but i wish i had tint and it was metallic navy or something... blue shows a lot of dirt....
