wheels wheels wheels

alright folks, instead of having all the answers, this time i have question.

just purchased a set of 17x8 eagle alloy style 203 off ebay.

my stock rims are 16x8.

here's where the question is, the stock wheels have 2 specific for the rear and 2 specific for the front, if they're mixed up they'll rub against the wheel well and i'll only be able to turn the steering wheel half way. no big deal, not like i'm gonna put the front wheels on the back and vica versa. but as for these ones i just bought, I highly doubt they'll be like the stock ones. what do you think i'll need to do, you think they'll just bolt up and be fine, or will i need some sort of spacer or whatnot?

Re: wheels wheels wheels

them they may need spacers, but they may already have the right offset, esp. if you got them from some1 with a camaro

Re: wheels wheels wheels

As long as your new wheels have a 0mm Offset, they should fit fine..

Re: wheels wheels wheels

tacoma, I bought em new, so they haven't been on anything yet. they have 0mm offset. me and my dad measured the backspace of one of them and compared to the stock one and there's about a .5in difference, but my dad told me they'll just stick out that much further, so that's not a problem at all. I think it'll look better like that anyway.

Re: wheels wheels wheels

oh i'll believe it, that's why i got em, I also just installed a set of intrax springs in back with lakewood control arms, adjustable panhard bar, and some kyb gas shocks.

up next is the front end rebuild with kyb struts, same intrax springs up there, steering brace, strut tower brace, then subframe connectors. everything is already here just gotta install now. once all that's done it should be able to handle the engine mods.
