So Ive Got A 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.... I Just Put New Tires On, But Before I Had Those Put On My Car Was Making A Loud Humming Noise At 35mph... I Thought It Was Just B/c I Had Low Tred On My Front Tires.. (Thats Where The Humming Noise Is Coming From) I Just Put New Tires On Today And I Still Have The Loud Humming Noise!! What Could It Possibly Be Now?? I Just Ordered Motor Mounts For My Car, Waiting For THose To Come In, But Those Wouldnt Have Anything To Do With The Humming NOise? Could It Be Ball Berings? Help!

Re: Loud Humming Noise At 35mph
This could be a wheel bearing going bad. Does the noise change or go away if you turn the wheels slightly while moving? If so the wheel bearings are shot and will need replaced. If not it could still be a bearing going bad but it may be too far gone for the above test to work.
