03 Civic System

I have an 03 civic ex coupe, I was wandering what amp/s would be best to get and if I need a capacitor or anything. I have 2 12" 4 ohm alpine type r subs

well in mines i got a rockford amp with 2 rockford subs with sealed box and a pioneer premier deck withe pioneer 4way 5in speakers all around

i think i read somewhere it is recommended that you use a cap if you are pushing more than 1k watts.

Anyhow, there is and always will be the debate as to whether you should use a cap or get an HO alt. IMO, I'd go for the HO alt, it'll improve your entire electrical system.
